Welcome to my website!

The Internet is a great tool that allows citizens to communicate directly with their elected officials as well as candidates for public office. In 2002 I was honored to be chosen by the citizens of the 38th State Senate District to represent the U.P. in the State Legislature. I am again seeking your support as I run for a second and final term.

Since my election to the Senate, I have fought to preserve our quality of life and have worked together with my colleagues and Governor Granholm to make the U.P. and the State of Michigan an even better place to live, work, and raise a family. 

We need to continue promoting all the U.P. has to offer.  My priorities are guaranteeing quality educational opportunities from pre-school to grad school, ensuring that state government assists the private sector in creating good-paying jobs, and working to see that all citizens have access to quality, affordable health care. I invite you to explore my website, and I encourage you to Volunteer and help promote the Democratic agenda to grow Michigan's economy for working families in 2006!
